We collect the following information when you use Steam IdleHub:

Account data: Username and email address provided during registration
Steam data: Steam username and a refresh token for automatic reconnection
Payment data: Processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details
Usage data: Idle start times and game App IDs you choose to idle

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the Service
To process subscription payments via Stripe
To send transactional emails (verification, password reset, payment notifications)
To reconnect your Steam account automatically after server restarts

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

Your Steam password — never stored, used only once during login
Your Steam inventory or wallet information
Your credit card or payment details (handled entirely by Stripe)
Any browsing data or tracking cookies

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on a secure VPS server. We use bcrypt hashing for passwords and HTTPS encryption for all data transmission. Steam refresh tokens are stored securely and used only for the purpose of maintaining your idle session.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Stripe – payment processing. See Stripe Privacy Policy
Brevo (Sendinblue) – transactional email delivery
Steam (Valve) – game platform API for idle functionality

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and all associated data
Cancel your subscription at any time

8. Cookies

We use only a session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or any third-party analytics.
